Title: DirecTV's Hot Pass Cancelled
Post by: Cheryl on December 10, 2008, 09:22:42 PM
I saw a couple of items on Jayski about this today, but here's official word from Jim Utter of the Charlotte Observer:

Interesting that the "additional content" might now be available to all DirecTV subscribers without paying an extra fee.  Lou and I only watched it the 2-3 times it was free, but I know a lot of fans of only one driver will sure be disappointed by this cancellation.

That's too bad.  I did not pay for the service either, but those who watched it swore by it as a decent alternative to the hype-laden traditional broadcasts.
