You know, I've never had much use for Bill Weber and his pretentious commentary.  BUT. this might just change me mind.
NBC/TNT NASCAR anchor Bill Weber says viewers can expect a different approach than they've seen on Fox as NBC and TNT take over the telecasts of the NASCAR Nextel Cup and Busch Series races for the second half of the season.

"You will see drivers and the teams instead of the announcers," Weber said during a conference call with reporters. "More than likely in the postrace, you might just get race-related questions instead of just like little fun bits after it's over."

Since the same 'team' is doing broadcasts for NBC and TNT, someone might just have been listening to the fans complaints?

Guess we will know this weekend.  I will probably watch this one as they are back with NBC/TNT.  I know I always like them better.  Just wish Bestwick was back in the booth.
